I WOULD like to thank the community of Grassington and Upper Wharfedale for the help and support I have received over the last few months.
We had a fantastic night at Grassington Town Hall on June 24 with the Ukraine concert. I am overwhelmed by the help and support I have received. I worked all day collecting with the fire engine in Grassington Square and was astonished by the generosity of the older residents of Grassington. Without the help of these wonderful people it wouldn’t be possible to do what we do.
Everyone seemed to have a great time at the concert and let their hair down a bit, and it also helped us raise money for our trip with our convoy of vehicles which left Grassington for Ukraine on June 27.
