IT was a privilege to have eight members of the Army 5th Regiment Royal Artillery in attendance all day at Skipton Armed Forces Day (June 25).
It was great to see people getting involved with the various demonstrations and attending the flag lowering ceremony.
Whilst most of the population hold our armed services personnel in high esteem, we urge people to show support in any way they can to those who protect us.
This is especially important in these unsettled times.
