AT Holy Ascension Church, Settle, the first in the series of local historian Sarah Lister's popular 'Graveyard Trails' got off to a lively start with tales of "Stars of Settle's Victoria Hall".
Sarah donned a feather boa as a special tribute to the entertainers of Victoria Hall - the oldest music hall in the world still in operation while she shared their life stories with a very appreciative audience, in Holy Ascension's graveyard, on a somewhat damp and blustery afternoon.
On Sunday, August 6 at 2.30pm, Sarah's talk will focus on " sporty folk".
The Graveyard Trails run on Sunday afternoons throughout August, they are free but places need to be booked ahead of time, either at The Folly, Settle, or by phone 07448 135625.
