THREE Skipton golfers are raising money for Sue Ryder by playing two rounds of golf in a day at Skipton Golf Club on Sunday, August 13.

Mark Desgranges, 44, from Cowling, Sam Baldwin, 29 from Rockwood Drive, Skipton, and Angus Mccabe, 26, from West Bank Road, Skipton, are taking part in the day-long event to raise much needed money for the charity.

“Everyone knows someone or knows of someone who has been in the care of the staff at Sue Ryder and the great work that they do. We are getting behind them by trying to raise as much money as we can,” said Mark.

The two rounds will be played off the white tees at Skipton with the golfers starting at 8.50pm on the Sunday, with about an hour for lunch. They aim to finish by 7pm at the latest.
