A PROVIDER of care for older people says it is 'exploring options' for the future use of Thornton Hill care home in Thornton-in-Craven after all residents and staff were moved to its new site in Skipton.
The Anchor Hanover group's recently opened Mill House in Sackville Street, Skipton, can accommodate up to 86 residents, including people with dementia.
Maria Bamford, director of villages and care services at The Mill House, said: “We’re committed to providing more and better homes to meet the changing needs and aspirations of our current and future residents.
"Residents and colleagues from Thornton Hill care home have moved to The Mill House in Skipton, a brand-new purpose-built care home with beautiful surroundings and equipped with modern facilities. We are exploring options for the future use of the Thornton Hill site.”
