AN appeal has gone out from Skipton Choral Society for new singers to join its ranks ehead of its next concert in the winter.
The choir is holding an open rehearsal at Christ Church, Skipton at 7pm on Monday, September 11 for potential new members. It is especially on the look out for tenor singers.
The society's Jill Wright said: "Come and suss us out - there's no audition and absolutely no pressure. We're a friendly bunch - and you know that music is great for mental health and well-being.You'll be more than welcome."
The choral society's next concert will be on December 9 when it will perform Britten's 'Ceremony of Carols' and Rutter's 'Magnificat' at Christ Church, Skipton.
