PLANS to set up a skin specialist business at Station House, Skipton Road, Cross Hills, have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
Applicant, Dan Cartner has applied for a certificate of lawful development for the new business which will be based on one side of the existing garage.
In the application to the council, Mr Cartner says it is planned that the business will include advanced skin treatments, facials and skin boosters. The business will operate Monday to Saturday, 9am to 8pm, as clients' require. There will be just one clinic room and parking will be provided within the existing driveway. A existing roller shutter will be retained for security reasons with the only changes to the site a business sign on the side road, not the main Station Road. The council will decide whether it falls within lawful development, or if a planning application is needed.
Other applications made to the council are: Bathroom and kitchen extension at 7 Airedale View, Cross Hills; Replace broken Burlington roof slates as required. Replace area of stone slate roof with Burlington slates. Replace existing roof insulation and repair roof timbers as required at Hillside, 3 Constitution Hill, Settle.
