WORKSHOPS are taking place to give people another chance to have their say on the future of Barnoldswick and Earby.
A long-term project which will guide future regeneration in the towns over the next 10-15 years is now well underway.
And draft masterplans are being developed with input and ideas from local people on how best to transform what their town centre offers.
Councillor Asjad Mahmood, Leader of Pendle Borough Council, said: “Following feedback, we’ve organised more workshops for people to get involved.
“An expert team from PLACED will present their findings and get feedback on how they are responding to people’s views through their developing plans, visions and ideas.
“Barnoldswick and Earby have not had masterplans before, so this is a fantastic opportunity to create ambitious visions for their future which we hope will boost new investment and development in the towns. It’s so important that they understand your priorities so please come along and feedback on the vision for your town.”
The workshops will last two hours, with people asked to attend the whole session if possible.
They will take place on Wednesday, September 20 6-8pm at Linden Community Hall, Earby, from 6pm to 8pm; and on Tuesday September, 26, at Barnoldswick Civic Hall from 6pm to 8pm. To book a place and find out more visit: www.pendle.gov.uk/masterplan
