SKIPTON town councillors are due to discuss Raikes Road Recreation Ground at a full meeting of the town council on Thursday (September 14).
Some residents responded angrily after learning that the council had agreed to let Embsay Junior Football Club use the football pitch at the recreation ground for club matches without consulting with residents first.
At a meeting of the town council in July, councillors unanimously agreed to allow the club, which offered to pay for the levelling of the pitch, to use the recreation ground for one evening a week and on Sunday mornings.
At Thursday's full council meeting in the town hall, chief officer, Louise Close, will report on the situation as part of the chief officer's update, which will also include the videoing of meetings.
The meeting starts at 7pm and will also include an opportunity for the public to address the council.
