A SERIES of live music events and film nights is underway at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre guaranteed to see people through the rest of the year and into 2024.

Friday monthly film nights get underway in October with Allelujah, a warm and deeply moving story about old age set in a geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital; while The Fabelmans in November is a coming of age story set in post-World War II era Arizona.

Live music at the centre continues on October 28 with Oasish, a multi-award winning Oasis tribute band; and in November, Desperado return for a third time performing the best hits from The Eagles and Don Henley. Local band, Soul Train will perform on December 2.

Looking ahead to 2024, international jazz sensation, Clare Teal and her band will perform on March 2 - and tickets are already almost sold out; and in April, Morgan and West are back with their Massive Magic Show for Kids.
