THIS fantastic picture of a red kite being mobbed by a much smaller magpie was taken near Bolton Abbey by Roger Nelson.
Roger tells us the birds were competing for a scrap of carrion - it looks like the kite was not about to give it up, and is giving the magpie a very level look.
