AN afternoon of 'song and Prosecco' is due to take place on Saturday (November 4) at St Andrew's Church, Gargrave.
Hot on the heels of last weekend's first beer festival at the church, there will be an afternoon of song and piano with soprano Elaine Dave and pianist Ellie Everhart.
Starting with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, the audience will be taken on a journey in song from the Baroque period, through the Romantic Era to the 21st century including songs by Handel, Faurè, Gounod, Gurney, Copeland, Britten and Walters. There will also be something at the end to celebrate bonfire night.
Saturday's event gets underway at 2.30pm. Tickets on the door, £10 for adults, including a glass of Prosecco; £5 for ages 16 and under.
