PLANS to convert a barn used for storage off Brockhole View, Settle, to two homes have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
The application by Ingfield Ltd refers to 'Quail Barn' and includes the building of a detached double garage, new access, car parking and changes to the boundary.
Other applications received by the council include: New timber fence above existing stone wall at Fairmount, Starkey Lane, Farnhill; single storey side extension at 8 Ings Drive, Low Bradley; single storey extension and alterations to White House Farm, High Bradley Lane, Low Bradley; extension of existing polytunnel including free draining hardstandings at Crow Nest Barn, Crow Nest Road, Austwick; Part retrospective application for renewal of the two existing concrete yards and the proposed laying of new concrete in an existing hardcore area of yard as part of a Countryside Stewardship Grant Scheme at Gallaber Farm, Burton-in-Lonsdale; prior approval notification for an agricultural building and access track at West Lane, Sutton-in-Craven; side and rear extension to existing dwelling at 7 Church Street, Gargrave; Two storey side extension at Railway View, 12 Ribblesdale Estate, Long Preston; retrospective extension to front elevation at 19 Hall Croft, Skipton; removal of a lime tree and a beech tree due to overcrowding at Raikes Road Burial Ground, Skipton.
