SKIPTON Building Society has announced Lothersdale’s Jen Lloyd has been promoted to the company's head of product and propositions.
Born and raised in Colne, Jen attended Park High School then Nelson and Colne College before receiving her degree in politics and philosophy at Manchester University. Now settled in Lothersdale, Jen is a married mother-of-two making waves in the mortgage industry.
Jen’s first job out of university was as Customer Adviser at Skipton Building Society’s Colne branch as the face of the Society serving local customers, before progressing into roles within the marketing, strategy and product development teams.
Speaking about her new role, Jen said: “I am incredibly humbled and pleased to be heading up the product team. As a mother of two boys, I always want to show them the importance of working hard and what can be achieved when you apply yourself.
“I began in the branch, I’ve worked hard and I’ve never lost sight in what our customers want or need to reach their financial goals and help them find a place to call home. Knowing I play a key role and have an opportunity to make these goals possible to even more people gives me a real buzz.”
