CRAVEN Arts is celebrating its first year in the Craven Arts House building on Otley Street, Skipton.

It will be marking the milestone on Sunday, December 10 with a pre-Christmas makers fair.

The building's community hall will be full of artists and makers showcasing their work, such as fused glass and ceramic Christmas decorations, and beautifully illustrated children's books.

There will also be pop-up greeting cards, silver jewellery, cards for all occasions, paintings, prints and much more.

Meanwhile, Craven Arts members are holding their annual Christmas exhibition in the foyer of the building and running up to December 23. Work from around 25 artists is on display.

Ann Rutherford, director of Craven Arts House, said “We have had an amazing year of creative talent through this building from all manner of media as well as delivering over 30 varied courses for anyone to come and have a go.

"I am delighted we are able to celebrate with the public and our supporting partners and funders, and look forward to even more in 2024."
