THERE will be two chances to see the panto The Wizard of Oz at Skipton Little Theatre on Friday December 22.

Aimed at all the family, the panto is an extra to the theatre's programme and is presented by Styletrax Productions.

A spokesperson for Skipton Little Theatre said: "Join us on a fantastical journey at Skipton Little Theatre this holiday season with an enchanting production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ – a delightful family pantomime.

"Follow the adventures of Dorothy as she travels over the rainbow in a quest to return home. Along the way, she befriends the Scarecrow who seeks wisdom, the Tin Man who yearns for a heart, and the timorous Lion who desires courage. "Their journey is fraught with challenges, especially from the malevolent Wicked Witch of the West who is constantly monitoring them.

"Can the Mighty Wizard of Oz aid Dorothy and her companions in their quest."

The spokesperson added: "Experience a world of wonder in this pantomime filled with witty humour, super music, opulent costumes, sparkling sets, and boundless entertainment suitable for all ages.

"Make Skipton Little Theatre your home-away-from-home this Christmas season."

There will be two performances at the Craven Street theatre on December 22, at 2pm and at 7pm. Doors open half an hour before each performance.

Admission is £12 (Under 16's £6). Minimum age for children is 5 years old.
