STUDENTS from Glusburn, Cross Hills and Sutton-in-Craven who are in further education at universities or colleges can apply for a small grant to support their studies, thanks to the Sir John Horsfall Exhibition Foundation.
The committee of the foundation will consider grant applications for the 2023/24 academic year. To be eligible for a grant, applicants must live in or have attended community or voluntary schools in the parishes of Glusburn or Sutton-in-Craven before the age of 16.
Applicants will be expected to provide a reference from either their current or past tutor to prove their suitability for a grant. In previous years, the value of the grants awarded was around £100.
