CAMPFIRES, bushcraft, music, walks, games and good food are on offer for male carers in the next few months.
The charity, Carers’ Resource, which has an office in Skipton, is running a number of exciting activities as part of its Men Care Too project for male carers who live in Craven. All Men Care Too events are free for male carers registered with Carers’ Resource.
A bushcraft camp weekend is planned for the last weekend in February next year at Hunters Greave Scout Activity Site, Pollard Lane, Bramley, Leeds.
Those taking part will be able to take part in archery, fire craft, camp fire cooking skills and tarpology- the art of building a shelter in the wild. It follows the success of a bushcraft day organised by the charity in the autumn at Baildon Moor.
For more details and to join any of the Men Care Too events contact Goran Selby on 07874 867136 or email mencare2@carersresource.org
