PLANS to build a detached, single storey garage with workshop at Booth Bridge Cottage, Booth Bridge Lane, Thornton-in-Craven, have been lodged with Pendle Borough Council.
In documents with the application to the council, the proposed development is described as replacing an existing single storey detached store, which was constructed 'last century and is uninsulated'.
It states: "Provision within the garage should provide at least one electric vehicle charging point which would improve the site's sustainability and reduce carbon emissions."
Other plans submitted to the council in the West Craven area include: Works to trees within a conservation area at Esp Lane, Barnoldswick; removal of oak tree within a conservation area at land off Gaylands Lane Earby.
