CONONLEY Village Institute Committee, supported by Cleaner Greener Cononley, recently organised an excellent session in the village hall on practical hints about how to save energy and save money.
A new thermal imaging camera has been bought for use in the village which helps highlight exactly where homes are losing heat. Hugh Rudden, chair of the Institute Committee, was presented with the new equipment by North Yorkshire Councillor Andy Brown whilst Chris Marsden, Fran Graham, and Andrew Simmons explained how to use the kit to best effect and what they had learned about how to save money on their own home.
The event was organised by Cononley Village Institute Committee and supported by Cleaner Greener Cononley climate action group.
The aim of the session was to stay warm and save money. Residents shared their experiences of using the thermal imaging camera and measures they're taking to make their homes warmer.
