REPAIRS to a road between West Marton and the A59 are due to be finished later today (Tuesday) or tomorrow.
The narrow road, which crosses the North Yorkshire and Lancashire border, and is the old road to Gisburn, has been closed for two days.
In 2022 there were concerns over damage being caused to the road by heavy traffic delivering spoil to a farm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Council said work went ahead yesterday (Monday) as planned, and was due to be completed either today (Tuesday) or tomorrow.
