RESTAURANTS across Craven have been nominated in the Nation's Curry Awards.

Settle Ruchee is up against nine others  in the 'Best of Yorkshire' and the 'best chef' categories with winners announced on Monday, February 12 at a ceremony at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester.

Ruchee owner, Mohammed Ali said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this award, and hope we win on the night."

Gargrave's Bollywood Cottage has been nominated in 'manager' and 'fine dining' categories, Barlick Raj Balti, Barnoldswick,  is nominated in 'Balti restaurant ' and 'best team'; and Rani's Indian and Bangladeshi Takeaway, also in Barnoldswick, is up for 'outstanding takeaway of the year'.

The Nation’s Curry Awards, presented by Oceanic Consulting and held for the first time last year, aim to recognise and celebrated the talents and hard work of individuals and businesses within the UK’s curry industry.
