THE campaign group fighting for the re-opening of the Skipton to Colne railway is due to hold its annual general meeting in March.

The 22nd AGM of the Skipton–East Lancashire Rail Action Partnership (SELRAP) will hear reports of the year and will see the election of a chair, vice chair, and all members of the group's executive committee.

Guest speaker, Councillor Ash Sutcliffe, a member of Lancashire County Council and Pendle Council, will talk on the 'roles and responsibilities of the newly devolved Lancashire Combined Authority'.

SELRAP is inviting applications from new 'campaigning volunteers' to join its executive.

The meeting will take place on Monday, March 11 at 7pm in the council chamber of Colne Town Hall, Albert Road, Colne. It will also be available on Zoom. To access by Zoom, email membership secretary Iain Hodgen for the link: iainhodgen@hotmail.com.
