THE grand St Andrew's Church in Kildwick will be the setting for a recital of 'mind blowing classical music' by the Leeds based choir, Leodis Consort on Saturday evening (February 24).

The choir will perform JS Bach's Jesu, Meine Freude, Lobet Den Hern, and Alle Heiden; and also James MacMillan's Strathclyde Motets (selection) and Miserere.

The concert will start at 5pm, tickets available online at https://leodisconsort.co.uk/from and on the door Leodis Consort was founded in 2023 with a mission is to 'share the joy of early music with our friends and community' and a belief that 'music has the power to bring people together and create a sense of unity and harmony.'

St. Andrew’s is open to visitors on most days, when the building is not in use, from about 10am until about 2pm.
