A SKIPTON man who admitted making thousands of indecent images of children has been sent to crown court for sentencing.
Ashley Demaline, 40, appeared at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday when he admitted three charges of making an indecent image of a child and one charge of possessing a prohibited image of a child.
They are that between September 3, 2017 and April 17, 2023, in North Yorkshire he made an indecent photograph, namely 1, 330 Category C images of a child.
During the same time, in North Yorkshire, he made an indecent photograph, namely 135 including three moving images of a child at Category B.
And, that he also made an indecent photograph, namely 184 including one moving image, of the highest, Category A of a child.
He also admits the possession of 48 prohibited images of a child in North Yorkshire over the same period of time.
The court heard on Friday that the images had been found on a number of digital devices owned by Demaline.
Demaline, of Regent Road, Skipton, is due to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on March 15.
At court on Friday he was given 72 hours to go to Harrogate Police Station to be put on the sex offenders register.
