POLICE are appealing for witnesses after around £500 of red diesel was stolen from a farm in Elslack, near Thornton-in-Craven.
A Karcher pressure washer was also taken at the same time sometime between Monday (February 26) to 4am on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "The diesel was taken from a tank stored in an outbuilding."
Anyone who may have seen something is asked to call police on the non-emergency 101 number, and use incident number 1224 003 5577, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
