NOBBY Clarke, from Silsden, hit the target once again for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice after his annual charity clay pigeon shoot raised £2,692.

He has held the shoot every year since 2013 and over the years has raised a very impressive £23,791.

Mr Clarke said: “I’m delighted to be able to help Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice with a good total again. I’d like to thank all who attended as well as Rob Thornber for preparing the chilli, Paul Allen at Craven Bakery for the finger rolls, and Lewis Robertshaw for providing the Upwood Hall Shoot near Silsden and Ripon Farm Services who donated cartridges for the event. Hopefully we now have the £25,000 mark in our sights for 2025.”

Andrew Wood, community fundraising manager for Sue Ryder,  said: ‘We are very grateful to Nobby and his team for continuing to support us with his clay pigeon shoot.

“The funds raised mean we can continue to be there during the hardest times for people who need us the most.”
