CHALLENGES faced by young people accessing and connecting to the Yorkshire Dales National Park will be the subject of one of a series of online talks by environmental campaigning charity Friends of the Dales.

One of the Gargrave based charity's creative campaigners Ruth Garrett, will talk about her own campaigning journey, her experience as an ambassador for the national charity Campaign for National Parks (CNP), volunteering as a teenager to a young adult and how these experiences lead to the launch of the Creative Campaigners network.

Ruth’s film production company, Kittiwake Productions also created a short documentary on sustainable farming featuring former Friends of the Dales trustee, farmer Anthony Bradley, made possible with a CNP New Perspectives Bursary in 2022.

The charity's creative campaigners are a group of passionate environmentalists aged 20 to 30 years old.

The talk will take place on Wednesday March 20 at 4.30pm. Book your free place at: www.friendsofthedales.org.uk/events
