SKIPTON'S annual town meeting is due to take place in Skipton Town Hall on Thursday, April 11.
The meeting, which gives residents an opportunity to make representations or comments relevant to the town, is this year being held on a different day to the annual meeting of the town council, which will be held in May, when the new mayor is elected; and in the concert hall of the town hall instead of the council chamber.
The meeting, which will be chaired by town mayor Councillor Sheila Bentley, will receive presentations from invited community groups and the neighbourhood policing team.
There will also be a report on the town council's strategic plan for 2024 to 2028.
The annual town meeting will take place in the concert hall of the town council at 6.30pm on April 11.
