POLICE are appealing for witnesses and any information to an alleged burglary to a property in Upper Union Street, Skipton.
The incident happened sometime overnight, between 10pm yesterday (Sunday) and 4.30am this morning (Monday).
Police are asking if people in the area can check their home CCTV and doorbell cameras for any relevant footage and telephone 101 using the reference number NYP080 42024 0064; or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A police spokesperson added : "Can we also ask that people remember to lock doors and ensure windows are closed before going to bed."
