FANS of Leonard Cohen are in for a treat when Keith James returns to Skipton Little Theatre on Saturday, May 18 with a concert celebrating the iconic songs of the Canadian singer-songwriter and poet.

Keith James' The Timeless Music of Leonard Cohen will aim to bring to life the enigmatic and visionary songs of Leonard Cohen, including 'Famous Blue Raincoat', 'Sisters of Mercy', 'Suzanne', and 'Hallelujah'.

Keith James has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft, and his love for the 'pure song' shines through in every performance. With over 550 concerts and 150,000 people reached, this concert has been hailed as 'life-changing' and a testament to Keith's dedication to Cohen's legacy.

A spokesperson for Skipton Little Theatre, said: "Join us on May 18 as Keith performs Cohen's well-known and lesser-known gems, including 'If it be your will', 'Joan of Arc', and 'Secret Life'.

"You'll also be treated to Keith's dramatic performances inspired by Federico Garcia Lorca, Cohen's greatest influence, and a special song transcribed from one of Leonard's poems from his collection 'Book of Longing'.

The Hay Festival said of the concert: "Keith James' Concert was truly memorable... My tears started as soon as he introduced the first song, and I came away thinking the human spirit will not be defeated", while The Sunday Times has said: "Keith James has become a pillar of trust.
