SPEEDING drivers in Halesowen have been issued with fines, after complaints from residents over dangerous driving.
Halesowen Police have been conducting a Speed Watch operation on Long Lane today (Tuesday May 7).
They have caught several drivers flouting the 30mph limit and said motorists have been fined.
They said one driver was doing over 40mph.

They tweeted: "Halesowen NHT supported by officers from The Road Harm team have conducted a successful speed operation on Long Lane, several fines issued within a short period of time."
A spokesman for Halesowen Police said: "We were on the lookout for speeding and dangerous drivers during a road safety operation in Halesowen today.
"Officers from our Halesowen Neighbourhood and Road Harm Prevention teams joined forces for the operation on Long Lane, following concerns from residents about irresponsible road users in the area.
"We issued several penalties to drivers for speeding offences, with one motorist caught doing over 40 mph on a road that has a 30 mph speed limit.
"We won’t tolerate such blatant disregard for the rules of the road and we’ll continue to run road safety initiatives to put the brakes on speeding and dangerous drivers."
