POLICE are appealing to dog walkers and anyone else who spends time outdoors in the Skipton area to keep a look out for a missing man.
Officers are currently searching for 51-year old Jason, who is missing from his home in Skipton and who may be wild camping in the area.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Jason's disappearance is out of character and we are concerned for his welfare. He may be wild camping in a small Eurohike Toco dome tent, which is probably blue, and he is likely to be travelling on foot in the area around Skipton.
"If you see Jason, the tent or have any other information that could help us locate him, please call us on 101 and select option 1 to speak to our control room."
