THE entire assets of Settle-based kitchen and bedroom specialist Dalesmade are up for sale after the company stopped trading following the retirement of its director.

All 150 lots are up for sale via an online auction, with tradespeople as well as members of the public expected to be interested in a range of stock including machinery, and kitchen and bedroom units. Bids close from midday on Thursday, June 20.

The woodworking plant and equipment includes a number of high quality machinery used during the manufacturing process, including different types of saw and belt sanders. In addition, the stock and operational equipment includes a range of former kitchen displays, such as a 12-piece oak display kitchen and 10-piece grey display kitchen, and appliances.

Established in 1998, Dalesmade, based at Sowarth Industrial estate, forged a reputation for producing high quality handmade kitchen and bedroom cabinetry and furniture.

Leeds based asset advisory firm Walker Singleton, which is hosting the online auction, has invited bids on the company’s stock and plant equipment from its manufacturing facility. Walker Singleton director, Allan Chapman, said: “Dalesmade has enjoyed a good reputation as a manufacturer of high quality kitchen and bedroom furniture.

“The wide range of equipment and stock available will appeal to a number of buyers, from manufacturers, trade professionals, to members of the public.”
