A pioneering dental firm, based in Silsden, has appointed a new marketing executive.

Ethoss Regeneration Ltd welcomes Kayleigh Houghton, of Skipton, following a ten-year stint at Skipton Building Society in which she progressed from a receptionist to corporate communications lead.

After completing an apprenticeship year within Skipton Building Society's Corporate Communications team, Ms Houghton worked her way up within the company and will now bring her passion for communications to Ethoss.

She will primarily be responsible for patient communication at Ethoss, helping to promote the company's flagship product - EthOss®.

EthOss® is a synthetic material that encourages new bone growth during dental implant procedures.

Ms Houghton said: "I’m thrilled to have joined Ethoss and to be learning from a welcoming and highly skilled team.

"Moving from a large business to a thriving small business working on a global scale is really exciting.

"I’m looking forward to seeing how I can help the business continue to succeed whilst putting patients at the forefront of our communications."

Ethoss has increased its export markets by more than 60 percent over the last five years, expanding to include countries such as Australia, Germany, Italy, and most recently Morocco.

It operates in more than 65 countries worldwide.

Peter Wheeler, managing director at Ethoss, said: "Kayleigh’s new role within our team signals our commitment to showcasing the benefits of EthOss® not just to dental practitioners, but directly to patients, too."

Ms Houghton's appointment comes just weeks after apprentice Sam Holder, 17, from Bingley, also joined the firm as an office administrator.

Alongside her role at Ethoss, Ms Houghton is studying for a BA in Creative Writing and English Language, and aims to become a published author one day.
