Big Brother made quite the dramatic return for 2025 last night (September 28) as three new housemates were put up for eviction before the launch show even ended.
Among the contestants already facing a possible back door boogie on the reality TV show is 27-year-old Zumba instructor Sam, from Skipton.
Sam, who claims he is “full of surprises”, along with Emily from Northampton and former PR Caroline, were “cursed” with an evil eye.
It came after presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best opened the ITV2 series saying “the OG is back, and Big Brother is here to play”, before revealing the first eviction would take place on the first night.

At the start of the show, AJ said: “For one unlucky person, the journey will end before it’s even got started, because tonight one housemate will be evicted on night one.”
Will told viewers a pipe outside the house had an “important role to play”, with each housemate given an eye that rolled down it to take into the house.
He later added that viewers had a short amount of time to vote for the contestant they wanted to give an evil eye to, making them eligible for eviction.
Sam, Emily and Caroline were then called into the “exit room” as the launch show ended on a cliffhanger, with the Skipton resident's fate being revealed on tonight’s show (September 29).

Ahead of Monday’s episode, let’s find out a little bit more about Sam, including whether he has a game plan to make it all the way to the final.

Sam said he has always wanted to be on Big Brother as he loves being around lots of people and joked, “I've got to get out of the house and give my mum a break”.
He revealed: “I think I'll bring a lot of fun to the house; I'll definitely bring a lot of energy. I want to get people doing Zumba and morning yoga every day. I hope we can have little sing-alongs too.
“I think I'll be good entertainment for all the housemates. I’m also a good listener; I cry at anything so I can empathise and think I’ll be a good friend to have in there.”

The Zumba instructor also admitted: “I'm looking forward to making new friends, hopefully learning some new life skills and seeing what things come out of this experience.”
Wondering if Sam has a game plan? He explained: “If I had a strategy, I would forget it halfway through, so I'm not going to give myself that task. I'm just going to be me and hope for the best.”
If he were to win Big Brother, he would spend the £100,000 prize on a holiday to Disneyland and “get myself a gorgeous apartment and a fluffy cat”.

However, Sam said he thinks “talking too much” and being “a bit too emotional” are among the reasons he is most likely to be nominated by his fellow housemates.
He added: “Apparently, I talk in my sleep now as well so that's not great. So probably talking too much or being a bit too emotional and maybe being too energetic sometimes.”
Big Brother continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
