A SERIES of free health and wellbeing talks is due to take place in Skipton.

The hour and a half-long talks at Greatwood Community Centre are open to all to attend and include a GP-led talk on bone health and also sessions on managing anxiety and creative wellbeing.

They are organised by the Wharfedale, Airedale and Craven Alliance of seven GP practices, which includes Addingham Surgery, Dyneley House Surgery, Skipton, Townhead Surgery, Settle and Grassington Surgery.

The GP-led bone health talk is on November 6.

It will focus on building stronger bones through 'lifestyle medicines' and how everyday habits can help.
