Fly-half Mark Bedworth will become Wharfedale Rugby Club’s 20th player to reach the milestone of 100 league games for the club when he runs out at Stourbridge on Saturday.

Bedworth is named in a squad of 20, the final make-up of the side depending upon two late fitness tests following the bruising match against Scottish.

Wharfedale travel strengthened by the return of Andy Hodgson and Oliver Renton.

In line with tradition, the side will be led out by Bedworth.

This will be Wharfedale’s ninth trip to Stourbridge in successive seasons, making it the longest-running fixture in the division, and this time they travel in better shape than their hosts, who languish in 13th place, eight points but only one place above the relegation zone. Stourbridge’s season was meandering along in mid-table comfort until December, since when they have won only twice. Back in October Wharfedale beat Stourbridge 31-16.
