The Craven Herald has a new editor.
Adrian Braddy, 32, joined the paper this week after seven years at the helm of the Teesdale Mercury and Wear Valley Mercury in County Durham.
Originally from Teesside, Mr Braddy has also previously worked for newspapers in rural south-west Scotland and Hartlepool. He replaces Peter Greenwood, who retired last year.
Mr Braddy, a married father-of-one, has spent more than a decade working on weekly and daily newspapers.
He said: “It is an honour and a privilege to be asked to lead such a prestigious title and I look forward to building on the Herald’s proud tradition of campaigning community journalism.”
