Eleven district councillors will be elected when Craven goes to the polls next Thursday, May 3.
The Conservatives will be hoping to hold onto overall control of the authority - it currently has 18 of the 30 seats.
However, eight are up for re-election and a ninth is being contested following the resignation of Hellifield and Long Preston representative Helen Firth last month. She had served for 13 years.
All the other sitting councillors are seeking re-election, although Ingleton and Clapham member David Ireton has changed his allegiance from Independent to Conservative.
The Tories have candidates in all 11 wards, with Labour and the Liberal Democrats fielding seven candidates apiece. Completing the line-up are four Independents and one Green Party representative.
