Five candidates will be contesting the Craven ward of Bradford Council.
The current member, Adrian Naylor, is seeking re-election - but has changed allegiance from Conservative to Independent after failing to win re-selection from the local Tory Association.
Last time, he took the seat with a majority of more than 2,000.
The Conservative baton has been taken up by Andrew Rowley and also standing are Labour’s Val Carroll, Liberal Democrat Stuart Ebden and Green Party member Rob Nicholls.
