PEOPLE gathered around Skipton war memorial at 11am today to take part in the Act of Remembrance this Armistice Day, November 11, led by the Reverend Veronica James, rector of Holy Trinity Church in High Street.
The parade, including members of Skipton Royal British Legion, assembled outside Skipton Town Hall for the short walk to the memorial where Legion member Barry Blood read the traditional address and the Legion band played the Last Post and Reveille.
