With Halloween being in just 2 days, you might have already made plans, whether that’s to go out trick or treating or celebrate indoors.

If you aren’t sure what to do this weekend, we think we have something that will keep you busy.

Sometimes staying in is exactly what you need and Amazon’s Alexa is putting a twist on that.

This Halloween, you can explore scary and family friendly movies with Fire TV including the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max.

All you have to do is ask Alexa a bespoke quote from a selection of films and whichever film you ask for will appear on your TV ready for you to watch on the relevant streaming service, including Prime Video and IMDb TV.

Streaming services and films may require subscription or purchase.

If you’d like to watch Cloverfield on IMDb TV, you can try “Alexa, something has found us” or you could sing “Alexa, One, Two, Freddy’s Coming For You…” to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street on Prime Video.

Families can also get involved by saying “Alexa, show me the friendly ghost” which will open Casper.

A collection of suggested spooky TV shows and movies can be found on the homepage of Fire TV devices, including Insidious, Pet Cemetery and The Purge.

Halloween content can also be found under the Find Tab as ‘Recommended Categories.’

What is the Fire TV Stick 4K Max?

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is Amazon’s most powerful streaming stick yet and the new Alexa utterances are available following the launch of it.

It’s 40% more powerful than Fire TV Stick 4K, with a quad-core 1.8GHz processer and 2GB of RAM that allow apps to start faster and navigation to be more fluid.

Live View Picture-in-Picture is another feature so you don’t have to interrupt your TV viewing while checking your compatible smart cameras.

This allows viewers to check their Ring video doorbells when someone is at the door. This means you can see that no monsters are after you.
