The Chase star Shaun Wallace has revealed he was the victim of a theft at a train station.
Mr Wallace, known as The Dark Destroyer on the ITV quiz show, was returning from Paris when his backpack was stolen at St Pancras International.
Speaking on New Zealand’s Coast Breakfast radio show, he described the incident, which took place while he was preparing to get into a taxi after filming an advert in France.
Mr Wallace said: "I had three pieces of luggage, put two of them in the back.
"The taxi driver went round to the front, and I had my rucksack with me.
"Some guy came up to me and said, 'Oi mate, you dropped a card at the back!'
"I was like, what are you talking about?
"So I ignored him, but he was insistent.
"So I said alright, okay, and went outside, left my bag there and by the time I came round, his mate had come in and nicked it."
The stolen bag contained several personal items, including his car keys, Gucci perfume, and a pair of blue suede shoes, which he jokingly compared to the Elvis Presley song.
Radio host Jase Reeves teased that the story sounded like an insurance claim, suggesting other imaginary items might have been taken as well.

Mr Wallace continued the joke by adding: "And a partridge in a pear tree.
"It’s in there."
When asked by co-host Toni Street if he felt he had been deliberately targeted, Mr Wallace said he didn’t believe he was recognised.
He added: "It’s sadly endemic in relation to, if you’re not aware of what’s happening around you, that’s when they strike."
