WITNESSES are being sought after a till was stolen from a Skipton cafe following an early morning break-in.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing information about the burglary that occurred at Coopers Cafe, in Belmont Street before 1.20am on Sunday, August 12.
A window was smashed to gain entry to the cafe.
in Skipton town centre on Saturday night.
A spokesman for the police said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"In particular, we are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed any suspicious activity around the Belmont Bridge area from around midnight onwards.
"Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting crime reference number NYP-12082018-.
