A BRAVE pupil of Water Street School, Skipton, has been handed a cheque for his favourite charity – courtesy of the Craven Police Charity Fund.
Little George Hall’s story touched the hearts of the charity fund’s committee, so they decided to offer their support. George suffers multiple health issues from a rare heart disorder. A Christmas Fund Raising event at Skipton Police Station raised £200 for the Airedale Hospital Children’s ward. George is guest of honour at a quiz on Friday at Rendezvous Hotel.
Other beneficiaries will include SELFA (Skipton Extended Learning For All) and PETAL Children’s Cancer Research, based in Skipton. The CPCF Annual Quiz Night and Auction runs from 7:30pm, with doors open at 6:30.pm
