KIRKBY Malham Primary School has bid a fond farewell to secretary Christine Eccleston who has retired after a long career in education.
Christine left Settle High School at 17 and worked for Settle Limes Ltd in an administrative role for ten years. She then left to raise a family of three children: Caroline, Phillip and Rachel.
She then returned to work for Settle High School in an administrative and later a business manager role for 25 years.
Following the North Craven Review Christine decided to consider early retirement but was asked to continue with relief work and during the last eight years she has worked at Ingleton Primary, Richard Thornton Primary, Horton Primary, Clapham and at Kirkby Malham Primary School during the last three years.
She said she has enjoyed her time working in school very much and wishes her colleagues and all the children the very best for the future.
