FIREFIGHTERS were called out to rescue a 10-year-old who had got locked in a loo.
The callout was made at around 1.15pm today to reports the girl had become trapped in a toilet in Glusburn after the locked device failed on the door.
Firefighters used crow bars and screwdrivers to gain access and release her.
Martyn Hughes, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service watch manager said the toilet was very claustrophobic for the youngster but she was absolutely fine and all smiles.
