Nostalgia picture: tea party for Broughton and Elslack children in 1956/57
THIS week's nostalgia picture takes us back nearly 60 years.
It was taken at a party for Broughton and Elslack in 1956/57 and was featured in the Craven Herald at the time.
It has been loaned by Patricia Wilkinson, of Earby, who tells us: "The little chap who had obviously knocked over the teacup is my godson, Robert Maude of Thornton in Craven, who recently retired as headmaster of Chatburn School."
