SIR - Did your readers know that there are over 100,000 people believed to be living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the UK, with around 5,000 people newly diagnosed with the condition each year?

This means that 100 people are diagnosed with MS each week.

Last week was Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week and I’d like to take a moment to tell your readers how by working in partnership with the MS Society, we provide support to people affected by the condition and their carers.

For many of us, the chance to take time away from our daily routines is refreshing and revitalising, but we also know that living with a condition that affects daily life can sometimes present challenges to being able to take a break.

By working in partnership with the MS Society, we are able to do what we can to change that.

In the last year alone, we provided 434 breaks for people living with MS - some of which were thanks to the help of the MS Society - enabling them to take time away from their everyday routines and to spend quality time with their loved ones.

I work for Revitalise, an incredible charity that provides respite holidays for disabled people and carers all across the UK.

Our guests have always been, and will always be, at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate to do everything we can to be there for people when they need us the most.

If you would like to find out more about Revitalise, our breaks, or ways we may be able to help you please visit: www.revitalise.org.uk or call 0303 303 0145.
